A fulfillment and mail order pharmacy located in the Chicago area is seeking a dual-licensed pharmacist with licenses in both Illinois and Nevada to support on-site and remote operations. This important role supports prescription fulfillment for major clients such as Express Scripts, Optum, CVS Caremark, and the pharmacy’s own direct-to-patient services.

Location: On-site in Schaumburg, IL (Chicago suburb) with remote work components
Job Type: Contract, with a duration of 3-6 months and potential for contract-to-hire
Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday shifts included on a 6-7 week rotation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain a smooth workflow and high volume output
  • Perform remote prescription processing duties as required
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and state regulations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada are mandatory
  • Prior experience in mail order or fulfillment pharmacy settings is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volume workloads
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
