Pharmacist in Chicago, IL

This opportunity is for a dual-licensed pharmacist to work at a fulfillment and mail order pharmacy serving major clients such as Express Scripts, Optum, CVS Caremark, and direct-to-patient services. The position requires both Illinois and Nevada pharmacy licenses to support on-site and remote operations.

Location: Schaumburg, IL (Chicago area)
Job Type: Contract, starting ASAP for 3–6 months with potential to convert to permanent
Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Pharmacist to work Saturdays on a 6–7 week rotation

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and high-volume processing
• Work on-site most days with responsibilities including overseeing daily pharmacy operations
• Perform prescription processing remotely as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada (required for this role)
• Proven experience in fulfillment/mail order pharmacy settings desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volumes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to supervise pharmacy staff
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both on-site and remote tasks
