Pharmacist | Chicago, Illinois

A fulfillment/mail order pharmacy located in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking a dual licensed pharmacist to support their operation both on site and remotely. This role requires Illinois and Nevada pharmacy licenses, reflecting the dual nature of the position. The pharmacy services include filling prescriptions for major plans such as Express Scripts, Optum, and CVS Caremark, as well as managing their own direct-to-patient offerings.

Location: Schaumburg, IL (Chicago area)
Job Type: Contract, with potential to convert to permanent
Duration: 3-6 months
Start: ASAP
Shift: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; pharmacists will participate in a Saturday rotation every 6-7 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• On site: Process and verify prescriptions ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and volume
• Remote: Process prescriptions effectively while adhering to license requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Illinois pharmacy license
• Must hold an active Nevada pharmacy license for remote work
• Experience working in fulfillment/mail order pharmacy environments
• Ability to work on site and remotely as required
