Per Diem Pharmacist in Chicago, IL

A pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide per diem (PRN) support in a specialized setting. This opportunity offers the chance to apply your expertise in an oncology or specialty pharmacy environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Location: Near Chicago, IL (8915 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL)

Schedule:

• February 16 and 17
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications, ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and protocols.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, potential interactions, and patient safety.
• Utilize the Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR to document and manage patient profiles.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois pharmacy license is required.
• Experience in specialty or oncology pharmacy preferred.
• Proficiency with Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR is a plus.
• Strong background in retail pharmacy considered if candidate demonstrates solid clinical knowledge and adaptability.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
