Per Diem Pharmacist in Chicago, IL

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Pharmacist supporting a specialty or oncology pharmacy setting during scheduled PRN shifts. This per diem role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced pharmacy systems to enhance patient outcomes.

Location:

• Chicago, IL area (site located at 8915 W Golf Rd Niles, IL)

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem (PRN) shifts on 2/16 and 2/17, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications accurately, with attention to specialty and oncology pharmaceuticals
• Utilize Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR for prescription management and documentation
• Provide patient counseling to ensure understanding of medication regimens
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapy plans
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacist license
• Specialty or oncology pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficient with Enterprise RX Pharmacy System and Iknowmed EMR
• Candidates with strong retail pharmacy experience demonstrating proficiency and professionalism are encouraged to apply
