A healthcare facility in Northern California is seeking three full-time staff pharmacists to provide expert pharmaceutical care within their Level II Trauma Center. Position Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts
• Varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• No fixed days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply clinical judgment and professional knowledge to ensure safe, effective medication use.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related issues in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and support pharmacy service excellence.
• Operate CII Safe/PYXIS systems efficiently.
• Handle frequent interruptions and adapt quickly to changes in workload and scheduling.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• At least one year of hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software programs and Windows operating systems.
• Demonstrated ability to apply drug knowledge and clinical judgment effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate clearly with medical staff.

Licensure and Certifications Required:

• Current Registered Pharmacist license in good standing with the State of California.
• ACLS Certification (to be obtained within one year of hire; current pharmacists have until 7/31/2027).
• PALS Certification (to be obtained within one year of hire; current pharmacists have until 7/31/2027).
