A direct hire opportunity is available for a pharmacist to join a well-established closed-door long-term care pharmacy with multiple locations offering significant growth potential. This role is based in Eau Claire, Western Wisconsin, serving as a key player in supporting pharmacy operations and patient care.

The pharmacist will work a full-time day shift, Monday through Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., including participation in an on-call rotation. Responsibilities include performing PV1 and PV2 duties, overseeing technician activities, and managing the cleanroom operations for preparing IVs and TPNs. Candidates with experience in long-term care pharmacy are highly preferred. However, retail pharmacists with strong Medication Therapy Management (MTM) skills who can quickly adapt to PV1 responsibilities will also be considered.

This opportunity offers competitive pay, relocation assistance, and a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates. Temporary ACT-10 licenses are accepted initially, but candidates must obtain a Wisconsin pharmacist license within 90 days of hire to continue employment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license or ACT-10 temporary license with the ability to secure a full license within 90 days
  • Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail experience with strong MTM skills considered
  • Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and manage cleanroom operations
  • Familiarity with pharmacy systems such as Frameworks
