A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Wisconsin, providing patient care across emergency, labor and delivery, and medical-surgical units. This contract position offers a structured schedule with seven days on followed by seven days off, allowing for a balanced work-life rhythm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to support a patient census of 10-12 daily
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in ER, L&D, and Medical-Surgical units to optimize patient care
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Pyxis systems to manage medication orders and inventory
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards within pharmacy operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials and licensure to practice in Wisconsin
- Experience in hospital pharmacy settings, preferably in critical access or similar facilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (Cerner) and automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis)
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Schedule and Hours:
- Rotation begins July 6, with a contract duration of 13 weeks or longer
- 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
- Mon-Fri: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sat/Sun: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
