A pediatric hospital is seeking an experienced Night Pharmacist for an immediate 13-week contract with potential for extension or transition to temp-to-perm. • Chula Vista, CA

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations overnight
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide expert pharmaceutical consultation
• Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics to optimize patient medication plans
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems proficiently
