A pediatric hospital in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Night Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with potential to extend. This role offers a 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, supporting critical pharmacy operations in a specialized pediatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and supervise pharmacy technicians during night shifts
• Collaborate with physicians to provide consultative pharmaceutical care
• Manage pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments for pediatric patients
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license is required
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric patient populations
• Comfortable and reliable working overnight hours
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical hospital environment
