A dynamic opportunity exists for a Pharmacist to provide critical night shift coverage at a 300-bed community hospital near San Antonio. This contract role, starting ASAP, offers a 13-week assignment with a 7-on, 7-off schedule working 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am. The position supports the hospital’s pharmaceutical operations using Cerner IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Consult closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetic evaluations to support dosing decisions
• Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours
