A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available for a Night Pharmacist role in the Chicago area, working a consistent 7-on, 7-off schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This 13-week contract assignment is ideal for pharmacists licensed in Illinois who have hospital experience and are comfortable managing overnight shifts. The start date is immediate to meet urgent staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians during night shifts
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient care
• Perform pharmacokinetic calculations and assessments
• Utilize hospital systems including EPIC and Pyxis to manage medication dispensing and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary coordination
• Ability to work nights in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Proficient with electronic health record systems, especially EPIC, and automated dispensing systems like Pyxis
