A hospital pharmacy position is available for a skilled Night Pharmacist with pediatric experience. This opportunity requires a professional licensed to practice in Illinois, committed to delivering quality pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients in a busy hospital setting.

Location:

• Chicago, IL (Cicero area)
• Hospital setting specializing in pediatric care

Schedule:

• Nights from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately following hospital protocols, focusing on pediatric dosing and weight-based calculations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication practices for children
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as EPIC and automated dispensing systems like Omnicell
• Monitor patient medication therapies and adjust as needed based on clinical guidelines and patient response
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Illinois
• Solid hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in pediatric care
• Comfortable with pediatric patients and proficient in weight-based dosing calculations
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
