A community hospital with 200 beds is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support their pharmacy services on a contract basis. Location:
- Ogden, UT
Schedule:
- 2nd shift: 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm
- 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Utilize hospital systems such as Meditech and Pyxis for medication management
Qualifications:
- Active Utah pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and clinical consultation skills
- Proficient with hospital pharmacy IT systems preferred
