Per Diem Pharmacist | Clermont, Florida

This opportunity seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide expert medication dispensing and patient care services under the supervision of the pharmacy manager. Focused on ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceuticals, the role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail. The position is per diem with shifts based in Clermont, Florida, covering Orlando locations.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with safety standards
• Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, and storage
• Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Maintain accurate stock levels and control drug inventories and records
• Clarify issues related to prescription coverage and insurance third parties

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license for the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

This contract assignment runs from March 13 and March 16 through March 20, working Monday through Friday during first shift hours. Candidates with flexibility to provide per diem coverage in the Orlando area are encouraged to apply.
