A Per Diem pharmacist opportunity is available supporting specialized community pharmacy services focused on HIV/AIDS patient care. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered service within a sensitive healthcare environment.

Location: Clermont, FL
Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts required

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense antiretroviral and related medications with accuracy and care
  • Provide empathetic, non-judgmental counseling to patients managing HIV/AIDS
  • Build trust and rapport with patients, understanding their unique needs
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Utilize QS1 software proficiently to manage pharmacy operations
  • Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively addressing operational and patient care needs
  • Maintain punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts

Desired Experience / Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License
  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience, specifically in HIV/AIDS medication dispensing
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and respect for the HIV/AIDS patient population
  • Comfortable and confident using QS1 pharmacy software
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive professional attitude and proactive work style
  • Updated resume explicitly noting HIV/AIDS related experience

This per diem role offers ongoing coverage needs with opportunities to work at community-based locations supporting a vulnerable patient population requiring specialized pharmaceutical care.
