A Per Diem pharmacist opportunity is available supporting specialized community pharmacy services focused on HIV/AIDS patient care. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered service within a sensitive healthcare environment.
Location: Clermont, FL
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- No weekend shifts required
Responsibilities:
- Dispense antiretroviral and related medications with accuracy and care
- Provide empathetic, non-judgmental counseling to patients managing HIV/AIDS
- Build trust and rapport with patients, understanding their unique needs
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
- Utilize QS1 software proficiently to manage pharmacy operations
- Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively addressing operational and patient care needs
- Maintain punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts
Desired Experience / Qualifications:
- Active Florida Pharmacist License
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience, specifically in HIV/AIDS medication dispensing
- Demonstrated sensitivity and respect for the HIV/AIDS patient population
- Comfortable and confident using QS1 pharmacy software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive professional attitude and proactive work style
- Updated resume explicitly noting HIV/AIDS related experience
