Per Diem Pharmacist | Cleveland, Tennessee

A mail order pharmacist is needed for per diem coverage from May 27-29, with ongoing opportunities available. This role supports an independent compounding pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily. The position requires oversight of pharmacy operations and supervision of a mail order eye drop department specializing in post-cataract surgery medications.

Location:

• Based in Cleveland, TN with ongoing needs in Chattanooga, TN.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5 pharmacy technicians handling data entry, prescription fills, and customer interactions
• Respond to pharmacist-level inquiries and provide guidance as needed
• Oversee the mail order eye drop department that ships three formulations of post-cataract surgery drops
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain quality standards

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Experience in mail order pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory
