Pharmacist in Clovis, CA

A skilled retail pharmacist is needed for a contract position starting the last week of August, lasting approximately 13 weeks with the possibility to extend. This role requires managing medium to high volume prescription workflows in a fast-paced environment, using the Rx30 software system.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Location: Clovis, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications while ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Manage prescription processing efficiently in a busy retail setting
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, many of whom are Spanish-speaking, to provide excellent patient care
• Use Rx30 software for all pharmacy operations including filling, inventory, and record-keeping

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months retail pharmacy practice experience, with strong experience in medium to high prescription volume pharmacies
• Proficiency in Rx30 software or similar pharmacy management systems
• Licensure as a pharmacist in the relevant state or ability to obtain one
• Spanish language skills are strongly preferred but not mandatory, as support staff can assist with Spanish-speaking patients
