Pharmacist in Clovis, CA

A well-established community health center pharmacy requires an experienced pharmacist for immediate full-time coverage. This role involves supporting a busy pharmacy team with reliable and professional medication dispensing and patient care services.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Duration:

• Contract position starting ASAP, initially 4 weeks with likely extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with all laws and regulations
• Collaborate with experienced pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage and possible side effects
• Utilize the Rx30 system effectively for prescription processing and inventory management
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow safety protocols consistently

Desired Experience:

• Recent experience in retail or community pharmacy settings is essential
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmacy law
• Proficient with pharmacy management systems, preferably Rx30
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
