This role focuses on overseeing and verifying non-sterile compounding processes within a specialized compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate brings a background in pharmacy with specific experience in non-sterile compounding, emphasizing quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Location: Kennett Square, PA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and verify technician-compounded non-sterile preparations to ensure accuracy and adherence to master formula worksheets.
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure patient safety and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Enforce cleaning and garbing protocols consistent with company policies.
• Perform calculations necessary for compounding and complete required documentation.
• Operate production and computerized equipment accurately following established guidelines.
• Maintain proper aseptic techniques and prepare work areas thoroughly before production.
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify the quality, purity, and potency of compounded medications.
• Stay current with advancements in compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Recent experience working in a pharmacy setting.
• Demonstrated background and experience with non-sterile compounding practices.
