This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a travel pharmacist at a small 40-bed hospital located in Northern Central Wisconsin. The position is ideal for pharmacists seeking to apply their skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment. With an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients, you will provide essential pharmaceutical care across a variety of departments including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, ED, and surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concurrent tasks in the central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying medication orders through EPIC, checking technician work, and handling pharmacist inquiries.
  • Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Support inpatient and outpatient clinical pharmacy services in a fast-paced setting.

Desired Experience:

  • Licensure as a pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently manage diverse pharmacy operations.
  • Experience with chemotherapy preparation and inpatient medication management is a strong plus.

Location:

  • Northern Central Wisconsin, within a 40-bed hospital setting.

Schedule:

  • Options include four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with rotating weekends, or a 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule.
