Pharmacist | Columbia, Maryland

A health center with multiple in-house pharmacies is seeking a full-time pharmacist to cover a planned leave of absence. This contract opportunity offers experience in a fast-paced outpatient pharmacy setting with strong technician support.

Location:

• Yard 56, 5525 Eastern Avenue Ste. 104, Baltimore, MD 21224

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Rotating Saturdays

Contract Details:

• Start Date: June 22
• Duration: Approximately 2 to 3 months

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily outpatient pharmacy duties including dispensing medications
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Utilize ScriptPro software (training available)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of 340B program highly preferred
• Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team and expand clinical skills in immunization and patient counseling. Experience with ScriptPro software will be supported through training.
