Pharmacist in Columbia, MD

This opportunity is for a Home Infusion Clinical Pharmacist to support a specialized pharmacy setting with a focus on infusion therapies. The role is a contract position with a 60-day assignment, requiring expertise in home infusion and sterile compounding environments.

Location: Columbia, MD
Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Environment: Home Infusion Pharmacy

Responsibilities include:

• Compounding intravenous (IV) medications with precision and adherence to protocols
• Managing and overseeing Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) preparations
• Supervising and managing pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and compliance

Qualifications:

• Recent experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
• Proven expertise in sterile compounding techniques
• Active and unrestricted pharmacy license in Maryland

Candidates must have signed agreements in place before starting the assignment. This position is ideal for pharmacists who have a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding, with the ability to lead technician teams efficiently.
