A home infusion clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a 60-day contract assignment in Columbia, MD, focused on delivering expert pharmaceutical care within the home infusion environment. This role is designed for professionals with a strong background in sterile compounding and home infusion pharmacy practices, offering a chance to apply advanced skills in IV compounding and TPN management while overseeing pharmacy technicians.

Schedule:

• Wednesday to Friday
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform IV compounding and prepare Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) mixtures accurately and safely.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance with protocols and quality standards.
• Provide clinical expertise in a home infusion setting to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient-specific therapy needs and adjustments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recent and verifiable experience in home infusion pharmacy practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in sterile compounding techniques.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacy license for the state of Maryland.
