Per Diem Pharmacist - Columbia, MD

This per diem opportunity is for a Retail Pharmacist providing coverage on August 13 and 18 in Baltimore, Maryland. Working under the direct supervision of the manager, you will be responsible for dispensing medications safely and efficiently to customers during first shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position requires familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software and adherence to all organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications and ensure safe delivery to customers
• Counsel patients on medication usage and regimens
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled drug records, performing inventories
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance or third-party coverage details

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license valid in the state of Maryland
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• August 13 and August 18
• First shift, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
