Inpatient Pharmacist New Grads Welcome

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join a hospital inpatient pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate looking to gain valuable inpatient experience in a supportive environment while working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals.

Position: Pharmacist
Setting: Hospital - Inpatient
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Strong possibility of extension; potential temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate)
Schedule: Evening Shift | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM | 7 On / 7 Off (Thursday – Wednesday)
EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow within the central pharmacy.
• Verify and check medication products, including:
• IV preparations
• Premixed IVs
• Topical creams
• Insulin pens
• Other medication products
• Inspect and verify code carts.
• Oversee and support pharmacy technician workflow.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to maintain safe and efficient medication distribution processes.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
