Per Diem Pharmacist - Columbus, IN

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available for PRN coverage during June. This role supports a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a daily lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. No holidays or weekend shifts are required. Contract dates include June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications for pickup or delivery.
• Manage ordering of equipment and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Control and maintain accurate inventory of medications.
• Apply best practices in storing prescription drugs and controlled substances.
• Verify prescription accuracy with healthcare providers when necessary.
• Maintain an approved drug list and verify expiration dates regularly.
• Monitor product displays and general appearance of the pharmacy.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Keep precise records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
• Provide telepharmacy support as required.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager regarding staff and operational needs.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified).
• Immunization license required.
• Resume and skills checklist submission.
• References required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
