A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available for the month of June, offering an opportunity to work in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment. This role supports a pharmacy utilizing Liberty RX software, focusing on high-quality patient care and effective pharmacy management.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • No holidays or weekends required
  • Specific dates: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drugs and prescription orders for pick-up or delivery with accuracy and efficiency
  • Oversee ordering of pharmacy equipment and supplies to maintain smooth operations
  • Manage inventory control, including monitoring expiry dates and storage conditions in compliance with best practice protocols
  • Verify prescription details with prescribing healthcare professionals as necessary
  • Maintain an approved drug and controlled substances list, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Monitor the general appearance of the pharmacy, including product displays and shelves
  • Address customer requests and resolve complaints to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Keep accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims
  • Support telepharmacy services and collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager on staff progress and pharmacy needs
  • Ensure all pharmacy services comply with state and federal requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
  • Immunization license
  • Submission of resume, skills checklist, and references
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
