Pharmacist opportunity available from October 5th to 9th at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) pharmacy operating under the 340B program. This contracting role involves working with Liberty RX software in a dynamic community health environment focused on delivering quality pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drugs and prescription orders for patient pick-up or delivery
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering necessary equipment and supplies
  • Apply best practice protocols for storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances
  • Verify prescription details with healthcare providers as needed
  • Maintain accurate records on drug lists, expiration dates, patient data, and insurance claims
  • Monitor and uphold the appearance and organization of the pharmacy, including product displays and shelves
  • Provide telepharmacy support to extend patient care
  • Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to support staff and optimize pharmacy operations
  • Ensure all pharmacy practices comply with state and federal regulations
  • Handle customer requests and resolve concerns promptly

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
  • Immunization license required
  • Experience working in pharmacy settings using Liberty RX software preferred
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to provide care in a community-focused health center environment
