This per diem opportunity offers the chance to provide pharmaceutical care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy setting from October 5th through 9th. The role is based in Columbus, IN, and involves utilizing Liberty RX software to support pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include preparing drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery, managing inventory and equipment supplies, and applying best practice protocols for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances. You will verify prescription details directly with healthcare providers, maintain approved drug lists with attention to expiry dates, and ensure accurate recordkeeping of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims. Additional duties involve monitoring product displays and the overall appearance of the pharmacy, addressing customer requests and complaints, providing telepharmacy support, and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager to support staff progress and operational needs.

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Valid Indiana Pharmacist license
  • Immunization license
  • Comprehensive resume, skills checklist, and references
  • Proficiency or willingness to work with Liberty RX software
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
