Per Diem Pharmacist - Columbus, Mississippi

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Per Diem Pharmacist to support a veterinary retail pharmacy setting. The role is scheduled for July 14, 15, and 16, with daily hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This position offers flexibility for professionals looking to gain additional pharmacy experience on a PRN basis.

Location:

• Columbus, Mississippi

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately to veterinary clients
• Engage in typical retail pharmacy duties including patient counseling, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining records
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure optimal medication therapy and customer service
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of one year recent pharmacy experience preferred, retail or veterinary pharmacy experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently during scheduled shifts
