A growing long-term care pharmacy in Columbus, OH is seeking four licensed pharmacists to join their expanding team. This direct hire opportunity offers a unique setting specializing in closed-door pharmaceutical services for long-term care facilities. The company is offering flexible shift options designed to provide work-life balance and attract top talent.

Shift Options Include:

  • Three second-shift positions: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM with every other weekend required
  • One schedule with 7 days on, 7 days off: 6:00 PM–4:30 AM, Monday–Sunday every other week

Qualified candidates must hold a current Ohio Pharmacist license and demonstrate expertise in medication review and management within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately evaluate medication orders for appropriate drug selection, dosage, interactions, and administration
  • Ensure proper dispensing, labeling, and preparation of medications
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare teams to resolve medication-related questions
  • Provide recommendations for therapy adjustments when needed
  • Maintain comprehensive customer databases, including medical histories and clinical data
  • Utilize pharmacy software systems, specifically Frameworks, for operational efficiency

Desired Experience:

  • Valid Ohio Pharmacist license in-hand
  • Experience in a long-term care or closed-door pharmacy environment preferred
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in overnight shifts
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management systems
