Per Diem Pharmacist - Columbus, Ohio

Provide professional pharmacist coverage in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 26th during the first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This per diem opportunity involves working under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager to ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, as well as delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients about their medications and therapy regimens
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies
• Maintain inventory and controlled drug records with accuracy
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage concerns
• Utilize Pioneer software for dispensing and record-keeping tasks

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred for familiarity with patient interaction and drug dispensing
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented approach to maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations
