This night shift pharmacist role offers a challenging opportunity to support a hospital setting just outside Charlotte, NC. The position is contract-based, starting immediately, with a 13-week duration and potential to convert to permanent status.

Schedule/Hours:

• Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Option for either three 12-hour shifts per week or a 7-on, 7-off rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing to optimize patient outcomes
• Consult regularly with physicians and nursing staff to address medication-related needs
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems effectively in daily operations

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina
• Approximately 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to a dynamic environment
