Pharmacist - Concordia, MO

A community hospital in Concordia, MO, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for approximately 6 months. This role involves providing essential pharmacy services in a 100-bed hospital setting utilizing Cerner software. The pharmacist will work around 4 to 5 days per week, primarily during evening or second shifts, with variable afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify inpatient medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Missouri pharmacist license
• Experience in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy environment
• Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy software preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a healthcare team
• Positive attitude and adaptability to variable schedules

Schedule:

• Approximately 4-5 days per week
