An opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist to support a 300-bed community hospital near San Antonio. This contract role offers an immediate start for a 13-week assignment, working 7 days on and 7 days off with 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders for accuracy and safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Consulting with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication therapy
• Managing pharmacokinetics and dosage adjustments to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilizing Cerner pharmacy information system for daily operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Texas Pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment
