A hospital pharmacy role is available for a licensed Pharmacist in Converse, TX, on a contract basis. This opportunity requires proficiency in hospital pharmacy operations and flexibility to work rotating shifts. The assignment spans a minimum of 13 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile compounds as needed
• Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust medication regimens accordingly
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• IV certification with ability to mix sterile compounds
• Proficient in EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be provided with application)
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety focus

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 07:30–16:00, 08:00–16:30, and 14:00–22:30
