Pharmacist in Conway, AR

An opportunity is available for an experienced Inpatient Night Pharmacist in a leading 359-bed trauma and teaching hospital recognized as one of the top pediatric medical providers in the country. This facility boasts a Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 4 NICU, and a progressive, state-of-the-art environment supported by a passionate, team-oriented staff. The role offers a fast-paced work culture with a traveler-friendly approach and options for contract or direct hire.

Location:

• Conway, Arkansas

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: Thursday through Saturday, 1900-0700
• Sunday through Wednesday, 2000-0700
• Weekend option: Friday through Sunday, 1100-2330
• Rotation schedule: 7 nights on, 7 nights off starting Thursday night; no call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting within a Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital environment
• Deliver comprehensive medication management and support for complex patient cases including pediatric and trauma patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in ongoing education and training activities to enhance clinical skills

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) with active credentials
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• IV experience or IV certification mandatory
• Must test negative for nicotine as a condition of employment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based work culture
