A leading 300-bed children’s hospital in the Pittsburgh area is seeking three experienced Travel Pharmacists to join their dynamic pharmacy team. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a pediatric hospital setting with a variety of shift options.

Location:

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension
• Start Date: ASAP
• Variable shift schedules to accommodate operational needs

Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure medication accuracy and safety
• Supervision and guidance of pharmacy technicians
• Application of pharmacokinetics principles in medication management
• Collaboration and consultation with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies
• Utilization of the EPIC electronic health record system

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Hospital experience or completion of residency strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric pharmacotherapy is beneficial
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
