Per Diem Pharmacist | Corning, California

Pharmacy professionals are sought for per diem opportunities in the Corning, CA area to support multiple retail pharmacy locations throughout Northern California. This is an excellent chance to provide flexible coverage while utilizing your retail pharmacy expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and service to patients
• Opening and closing pharmacy operations in accordance with protocols
• Managing pharmacy technicians effectively during shifts
• Ensuring accurate prescription processing and counseling
• Adhering to safety and regulatory standards
• Traveling within the Northern California Bay Area as needed for coverage

Ideal candidates have:

• A minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience, including experience opening and closing pharmacies
• Strong skills in managing pharmacy technicians and workflow
• Familiarity with McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 pharmacy software systems
• Ability and willingness to commute to multiple locations in the greater Bay Area and Northern California region
• A current pharmacist license in good standing

This per diem role is perfect for professionals seeking part-time work or supplementary shifts. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel over 30 miles one way.
