This per diem pharmacist opportunity located in Corpus Christi, TX, offers a focused assignment on select dates with daytime shifts. The role emphasizes delivering safe, accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.

Work Schedule:

• Assignment dates: August 27-28 and September 3-4
• Shift: 1st shift
• Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Counsel and advise patients regarding their medications and therapeutic regimens
• Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to company policies
• Maintain precise stock and controlled substance records and perform regular inventories
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage questions to ensure seamless service
• Utilize Pioneer software for pharmacy operations and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Texas is required
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience demonstrating competence and customer service excellence
