Pharmacist - Cortland, New York

A Specialty Pharmacist role is available at a new Specialty Pharmacy focused on delivering exceptional clinical and dispensing services. This opportunity involves working closely with healthcare providers, including oncology specialists, and various support teams to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and dispensing duties within the specialty pharmacy setting
• Collaborate effectively with oncology providers, pharmacy staff, and clinical teams
• Support prior authorization processes and financial assistance coordination
• Work alongside transportation and other support personnel to facilitate patient access to medications

Qualifications:

• Valid NY pharmacist license
• Experience in specialty pharmacy practice
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system (mandatory)
• Oncology pharmacy experience preferred but not required; familiarity with oral oncology medications is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

This contract opportunity offers flexibility and has the potential to convert to a permanent position. Immediate start is preferred, with a contract duration of approximately 8 weeks or longer.
