This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide essential nighttime pharmacy services in a hospital setting. The role supports medication safety and accuracy through effective collaboration with the healthcare team and the utilization of electronic medical records.

Location: Corvallis, OR
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Night shift, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Review patient medication profiles and monitor for drug interactions and contraindications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Maintain accurate records in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist license required at application
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in using electronic medical records, preferably EPIC
