Pharmacist - Cottonwood, AZ

This role offers an opportunity to provide critical overnight pharmaceutical care in a well-respected hospital setting with approximately 100 beds. Operating in a cutting-edge Cerner EMR environment, you will play a vital part in patient safety and medication management during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure safe dispensing
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during overnight operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to address medication-related questions and clinical consultations
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize individual patient therapy
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards during all pharmacy activities

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist license required
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR or similar hospital information systems
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to work independently during night shifts

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
