A healthcare facility in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their inpatient behavioral health unit. This contract opportunity begins on May 18 and will continue until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The role offers weekend shifts, working six hours each on Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Support medication management by repackaging drugs using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems
• Load medications into automated dispensing machines and run restock reports
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in Iowa required
• Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
• Familiarity with repackaging methods and automated machine operations is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during weekend shifts

Shift/Hours:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 6 hours per day
