This position offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services in a busy grocery store pharmacy environment. The role is part-time with a flexible, rotating schedule designed to accommodate candidate availability and pharmacy needs.
Location: Omaha, Nebraska (Council Bluffs, IA area)
Schedule:
- Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday and Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)
- Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours)
- Pharmacy Manager is open to schedule adjustments as needed
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescription accuracy and ensure patient safety
- Provide counseling and answer patient questions to support medication adherence
- Supervise pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service within a retail pharmacy setting
Qualifications:
- Active Nebraska pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility with scheduling requirements
- Experience with McKesson Enterprise system is preferred but not required
