Retail Pharmacist in Cresco, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time pharmacist to support their Dingmans Ferry, PA location in a direct hire opportunity. This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, working approximately 69 hours biweekly, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies effectively.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by completing Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks following state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business by growing prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profits.
• Align department performance with key metrics to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical-related questions and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness.
• Resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and utilize reference resources to manage prescriptions and resolve issues.
• Prioritize and ensure timely completion of pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred.
