Pharmacist | Crozet, Virginia

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 200-bed community hospital located in Southwest Virginia. This role offers a flexible schedule, blending days and afternoon shifts to meet the needs of both staff and patient care. The position is contract to hire, with an immediate start date and a minimum duration of 13 weeks.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Use of healthcare IT systems EPIC and Pyxis will be integral to daily operations.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Virginia pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with medication order verification and clinical consultation
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
• Ability to manage and lead pharmacy technicians effectively
