Pharmacist in Cushing, OK

A well-established 100-bed community hospital located about 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated pharmacist for their night shift. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a team committed to excellent patient care in a supportive hospital environment. The hospital prefers a candidate interested in a permanent or temp-to-hire role, although travelers are welcome to apply to provide interim support.

Location: Stillwater, OK

Schedule:

• Night shifts
• 7 days on / 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Manage pharmacokinetics responsibilities
• Consult closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Oklahoma pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy system is a plus
