This opportunity places a Pharmacist in a 150-bed community hospital setting where clinical expertise and collaborative skills are valued. Position Details:

• Location: Nacogdoches, TX
• Type: Contract (13 weeks)
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff on medication management and patient care
• Utilize hospital systems such as Cerner and Omnicell for medication distribution and record-keeping
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Texas
• Minimum 1+ years current inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong skills in intravenous (IV) admixture preparation and safety protocols
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy IT systems (Cerner, Omnicell)
• Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
