This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with recent hospital experience seeking a dynamic role in a healthcare setting focused on pediatric and adolescent behavioral health. Located in Daleville, AL, this position supports an acute care unit with 118 licensed beds and a daily census averaging 23 patients.

Responsibilities:

• Review medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with nursing staff when medication changes or prescriber contact is necessary.
• Manage restocking and oversight of the medication dispensing system.

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active Alabama pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with order entry and automation systems preferred; training available for HCS order entry and Med Dispense automation.

Work Environment:

• Pediatric and adolescent behavioral health specialty.
• Supportive team including Director of Pharmacy and nursing staff readily available for consultation and assistance.
• No pharmacy technician support; direct communication with pharmacy leadership encouraged.
