We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 6-month contract assignment supporting a high-volume outpatient pharmacy setting in Texas. This is for one open position within the team.
Assignment Details
Duration: 6 months
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating shifts)
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (every 3rd–4th Saturday)
Volume: ~1,400 prescriptions/day
System: Willow
Current Team: 2 Pharmacists and 10 Technicians
Key Responsibilities
Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
Perform clinical review of prescriptions and therapy appropriateness
Provide patient counseling and medication education
Administer immunizations
Support efficient workflow in a high-volume outpatient pharmacy
Required Qualifications
Active and clear Texas Pharmacist License
Minimum of 2+ years of recent retail pharmacy experience
Current immunization certification
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
Travel support considered for qualified pharmacists
