Pharmacist - Dallesport, Washington

An opportunity is available for a relief pharmacist with recent hospital experience to provide vital coverage in a small town on the Washington/Oregon border. This role offers a chance to support a close-knit healthcare environment while working with established healthcare IT systems like Cerner and Pyxis.

Location: Dallesport, WA
Job Type: Contract (relief coverage)
Schedule:

• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shifts
• Specific coverage days in July, August, and Fridays in September
• No on-call responsibilities
• Support provided by pharmacy technicians

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely within hospital settings
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner and Pyxis systems to manage inventory and patient medication records
• Provide coverage during specified dates while maintaining high quality of care

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner and Pyxis technology preferred
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to patient safety
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and workflows
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
