Pharmacist - Dayton, Nevada

Provide pharmaceutical care as a night shift pharmacist in a 175-bed hospital utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems. This contract opportunity involves working a 7-on, 7-off night schedule with 10-hour shifts to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety. The role is based in the Reno area with a start date as soon as possible and a duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies, and applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient outcomes. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to function effectively during overnight hours.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis preferred
