Per Diem Pharmacist in Decatur, GA

A per diem opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide essential vacation coverage at an independent compounding pharmacy. This role focuses on supervising daily operations within a high-volume mail order setting, specializing in post-cataract surgery eye drops.

Location:

• Chattanooga, TN

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Lunch break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Weekends closed
• Per diem (PRN) position with ongoing needs

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the work of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and handling phone inquiries
• Address and resolve questions or issues that arise during pharmacy operations
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department shipping three different formulations of post-cataract surgery drops
• Ensure quality standards and compliance with pharmacy regulations are maintained at all times

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacy experience
• Mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists, or recent reliable graduates seeking flexible work
